Grafton Transit was started in November 1989. Since then, the Company has grown and prospered because of our commitment to SERVICE.
Grafton Transit started with four (4) tractors, four (4) trailers and five (5) drivers performing local cartage services.
We have grown to over 40 tractors and over 140 trailers moving general commodities and hazardous material in both intra and interstate service. We continue to look for opportunities to expand our business and service areas for our customers.
While we have forty-eight state authority, including Wisconsin and Illinois intrastate, we usually confine our operations to movements within Wisconsin and Illinois.
Our primary corridor is Green Bay to Chicago and west to Madison.
